Rosy Ladyshorts

Sewing underwear is a great way to get started in making lingerie. Underwear projects are quick, use up little fabric, and are a great way to get some experience in sewing stretch fabrics and elastic.

The Rosy Ladyshorts was my first pattern! (You can read about my inspiration and why I made up the name ladyshorts here.)

Download the pattern here.

Hi! I was trying to look at the pattern, but from what I could see the PDF shows only one of 13 pages. I’m wondering if others are having a problem with the PDF as well…?

Hi Linda, if you could give me some specifics, that would be awesome! I am at the mercy of my blog software on this. When you click the link, does it take you to a page? And what browser are you using?

    Hi Amy,

I made my first pair of Rosy lady shorts and had no trouble putting them together and they fit well. Thank you!! I did find that they don’t cover much of my backside (I’m pretty flat back there and used a size 4). Not that that is a problem just different from the photo.

Hi! I’ve found you via projects on the burdastyle site and I like your ladyshorts pattern! Thanks for sharing, I will download it to try it in the next time! I also find the tutorial on how to make them very helpful, especially the part about adding the elastics!

Thank you! I detest the side seams that dig into my skin and so the one central seam per side is a perfect solution. Thanks for sharing this.
